Kaz Arahama was born in Japan. He studied English Literature at Kanagawa University.
As his study with international relations expanded even in the US, he became interested in photography, which led him to study further at F.I.T to pursue a career in visual creativity with the camera.
This amazing life changing experience has given him the chance to become an established still life photographer, a journey which started out in NY and continues now in Tokyo.
His long-term relationship with still life photography has opened up great possibilities internationally as his skill and career rise and it has developed his unique vision in other fields such as beauty, landscape and art photography.
Arahama`s pursuit of light texture is reflected by his imagination of the beauty in nature and everyday things surrounding us. His sensitivity to objects is flawlessly composed through the lens graphically and narratively in order to portray the life and story of his subjects and he expresses their sensual emotion and organic elements with abundant analog and digital techniques.
He was based in New York City for 16 years and is currently based in Tokyo. He travels all over the world to expand his creative boundaries.
